Volunteers share loving hearts and helping hands. They make a significant difference in the lives of others. Help be part of the solution and volunteer your time and support.

Individual volunteers fulfill dozens of varied and meaningful roles. Volunteers participate in a variety of areas, including; receptionist, administrative support, community education/outreach, legal, jobs and training, housing, violence prevention, advocates, drivers, support and activity leaders, research/technology, mentors, childcare, people skilled in trades and creative talents, apartment painters/cleaners, kitchen help, and a variety of special events. Check out volunteer opportunities available at Tubman.

We welcome and encourage corporate, business, colleges, and faith and community groups to donate their time and talents. Internships are also available. Over 600 individuals and hundreds of groups actively volunteer at Tubman every year. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities for you or your community group. All individuals wishing to volunteer long-term must complete a four-hour training and orientation session.
