Programs

Tubman Family Alliance provides immediate safe haven and protection for women and children in crisis with a total of 128 beds at three emergency shelters and 12 on-site transitional housing units. In addition, a full range of support services are offered to all members of the family – men, women, and children – in Washington, Hennepin, and suburban Ramsey counties.

Our programs include:

• Children and family support services and programs
• Restorative Justice: A community alternative to the traditional criminal justice system.
• Holistic Program: A program that helps individuals who have been abusive.
• Home-based support services: Places families directly into permanent, safe, affordable housing.
• Jobs, Education, and Training (JET) program: Offers employment education, resources, and referrals to help individuals attain personal career goals.
• Minnesota Child Response Center: Support for children who witness violence.
• North Side Outreach Program: Pilot City Neighborhood Services.
• Technology education and support: Assists participants to gain comfort, expertise, and even new careers in the field of computer science.
• Transitional support services: Delivers long-term support and follow up services that help sustain your family's success in establishing a way of life free from violence.
• Violence Prevention Program: Provides prevention education to fit the needs of both the students and school faculty.
