Should you speak up?

Yes, absolutely.  Many people in abusive relationships believe there is no hope. As a community member, neighbor, co-worker, friend, or relative, you can help them see that they do have options, and get them the help that they need.

The impact of family and relational abuse ripples throughout the community.  Medical costs due to domestic violence alone are estimated at $45 -$100 million annually.  Businesses forfeit another $100 million in lost wages, sick leave, absenteeism and no-productivity.  And for children in violent homes, the effects can be profound.  It’s important to do everything we can to end domestic.
