For men:

  • Work on self-control
  • Practice assertiveness without aggression and seduction without coercion
  • Give respect to women regardless of what you think of women in general
  • Increase your involvement in the everyday lives and experiences of children
  • Practice open communication in all close relationships
  • Support and nurture other men as well as women
  • Simplify and clarify your roles at work and home
  • Get the right kind of help

For women:

  • Practice self-empowerment
  • Work on recognizing your own needs and desires
  • Set limits without being judgmental
  • Give respect to men regardless of what you think of men in general
  • Increase interactions with adults of both sexes
  • Learn to compete comfortably
  • Practice open communication in all close relationships
  • Support and nurture other women

  • Appropriately advocate the importance of female perspectives and experiences
